The job: 

 

As our Outdoor Category Manager, you will drive the growth of Decathlon UK’s market share for Outdoor Sports by developing innovative cross-channel commercial strategies and experiences, with a special focus on promoting active lifestyles across and incorporating sustainable alternatives into the business model.

We have an exciting opportunity for a PPC Shopping expert to join our fast-paced, growing UK Marketing team. In this role, you would be responsible for supporting the performance marketing team to drive traffic and sales through decathlon.co.uk. 

 

The PPC team manages paid search channels (Google & Bing), as well as Google Shopping in-house for a number of commercial and branding teams across the UK business. This role primarily focuses on Google Shopping and feed optimisation, working with large datasets and optimising both product information as well as campaign set-up and efficiency. 

 

The team are responsible for large budgets and is looking for support to improve performance through these channels. This is a fantastic opportunity for a numerate and analytical paid search candidate with several years of experience to join a large, established retailer in the world of online sportswear and equipment.

 

Your responsibilities: 

  • You will assist in driving sales and new customer growth against efficiency targets

  • You will help to implement, monitor and execute our customer acquisition strategy across Paid Search, with the potential to work on other channels

  • You will work both hands-on with the in-house team, and periodically liaise with existing agency partners on seasonal full-funnel campaigns

  • You will manage ad spend, campaign feeds, and support with any necessary technical and creative requirements

  • You will be supported with reporting through BigQuery, Google Sheets and Looker Studio

  • You will also use API solutions to support automating reporting, campaign conversion measurement and optimisation as well as day-to-day analysis
